White Bridge PTA
The White Bridge PTA plays a vital role in our school community. We are an active and
enthusiastic team, and while fundraising is a key focus, our broader aim is to foster strong,
effective relationships between staff, parents, and others connected to the school. We take pride in organising purposeful and positive events that benefit all children at White Bridge.
All our events and fundraising activities are coordinated by a dedicated team of parent volunteers and are well supported by the school, families, friends, and local businesses.
These events not only raise vital funds but also provide opportunities for children, parents, staff, and the local community to come together and enjoy social occasions. Regular events include:
- Summer and Christmas fetes
- End-of-term discos (winter and summer)
- Colour run
- Quiz and bingo nights
- Mothers' and Fathers' Day gift sales
In addition to these, we also raise funds through:
- Christmas card sales
- Regular clothing collections
- Second-hand uniform sales

What the PTA Has Been Doing
With the support of families and local businesses, we’ve raised significant funds to improve
facilities and enrich every child’s school experience. Some of the projects we’ve funded include:
- Class texts for school-wide use (2025)
- Science Week activities (2025)
- Cooking ingredients during Diversity Week (2025)
- Fans for every classroom (2025)
- Reading shed for the KS2 playground (2024)
- New library for the whole school (2024)
- New netball team kit for juniors (2022)
- New climbing trail in the KS1 playground (2022)
- Large climbing/activity centre in the KS2 playground (2020)
- Full computer suite installation (2019)
And ongoing support for:
- Welcome gifts for new parents
- Breakfast club for Year 6 during SATs week
- End-of-term (spring and summer) treats for all pupils
- The Works vouchers for staff to help equip classrooms
While fundraising is important, one of our core goals is to help make the school a happier, more connected, and collaborative environment. We’re always keen to welcome more parents into the PTA, even in small ways. Every bit of help makes a difference. If you'd like to get involved, please get in touch — we’d love to hear from you!
Our committee meets roughly once a month, mostly in person but occasionally online. We aim to share tasks equally and work as a team. You can contact us easily via email:
